Latest software for my dvr DS-7208HUHI-K2/P

I don't know for sure what the browser compatibility will be for this model, as we don't sell or work with analog DVRs like the DS-7208HUHI-K2/P. From experience with IP NVRs, I think most browser functionality should be available when accessing with modern browsers like Chrome/Firefox if you...

Latest software for my dvr DS-7208HUHI-K2/P

Correct, many years ago the most popular modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) stopped using the old plug-in that Hikvision and many other CCTV brands used. After a couple of years, most Hikvision models (excluding some very old models) had received new firmware updates that support...

Latest software for my dvr DS-7208HUHI-K2/P

It's to do with the age of your firmware. The V3 firmware likely won't support modern browsers like Chrome & Firefox, You will need to do at least the first update using either a USB stick & direct monitor or by downloading HiTools Delivery which allows you to update firmware from the desktop tool.

Latest software for my dvr DS-7208HUHI-K2/P

When you open the DVR case and look at the HDD SATA ports on the DVR motherboard, they should have some form of numbering, with 1 being HDD1 and 2 being HDD2. To double-check, you can remove one of the HDDs, power the DVR back on, and check the storage menus to make sure you have removed the...

The firmware can be updated either with a USB stick plugged into the DVR and accessed with a direct monitor or by using a web browser to log in to the DVR. See p143 of the user manual for instructions on both methods.

Hi @mgblugs You can find all of the firmware releases for this model at the Hikvision EU Download Portal. As you are running such an old firmware version, you will need to update the camera in steps. The first version you will want to update to is V5.3.5 151209, but in the folder for this...

Trying to find the right Firmware ..but what does that 'C' mean?

Hi @virdi The letter in the brackets refers to a different hardware/software iteration of a specific model. So the model without the (C) is the older original version of this camera model (which will use the G3 firmware), the model with the (C) is a newer iteration of the same model with...

How to access hilook Hikvision NVR?

Hikvision Mac compatibility is not great and some of the Hikvision software doesn't work with certain MacOS versions. Please try using Hikvision's free VMS instead - iVMS-4200 - which has an SADP Tool built-in for finding the HiLook NVR on your network. We cannot offer 1-to-1 phone support to...

How to access hilook Hikvision NVR?

Hi @Dondon09 You should be able to find the HiLook NVR using the Hikvision SADP Tool, which will give you the IP address of the NVR to access it using a browser.

    How to replace cctv camers

Great, If you already have a PoE switch with some cameras connected to it, you can connect the replacement Hikvision camera to this switch and then add the camera to the NVR over the local network as an ONVIF device.
