    Latest firmware for DS-2CD2042WD-1

Similar to your other post... check that the "firmware version property" of this camera contains "R6"... it so, you should be fine upgrading straight to the latest version V5.5.82 release 190909 found on the link you posted.

Firmware Hikvision declare new vulnerabilities in mass email blast sent Saturday 18th September 2021

That does look like the correct link since your current version is listed there before the new one... to be sure, look at the "firmware version property" of your camera... Does it contain "R0"? Here's an example from a "R7" series camera... There probably wouldn't have been a newer version...

    7616ni-i2 alarm server

Hi @J273 ... this probably won't help because I have a DS-7616NI-M2/16P on V5 firmware... here is where an alarm host is setup on that model:

How to set PTZ schedule for Hikvision DS-2DE2C200MWG-E?

Here's an example of a goto preset 2 command run... ignore the ":65008" at the end of my IP address... that's there because I am accessing a camera on an NVR PoE port using virtual host:

How to set PTZ schedule for Hikvision DS-2DE2C200MWG-E?

A possible solution? Unfortunately, this assumes you have a PC running 24/7... You can use the following curl/ISAPI commands to send the camera to presets 1 and 2: curl.exe -u USERNAME:PASSWORD --digest -X PUT "http://IP_ADDRESS//ISAPI/PTZCtrl/channels/1/presets/1/goto curl.exe -u...

How to set PTZ schedule for Hikvision DS-2DE2C200MWG-E?

I checked the specs for your camera and I see there is no "Scheduled Task" capability listed :( ... like this... If the camera had "Scheduled Task" capability you would see this menu item:

    Adding cameras to a 216M-A/8P 16 channel

I agree... and @trempa92 gives lots of help here... he does get a bit cranky sometimes though :) ... and I think this is the correct answer in a nutshell: If you check you will probably see the cameras are recording, you just can't live view them all due to the decoding capability. Merry...

Windows Utility uses Xbox controller for Hikvision and Dahua PTZ control (XInput / ISAPI / CGI)

I was testing the Dropbox link to make sure it works... if you don't have a Dropbox account, and don't want one, just click on "Or continue with download only" and you can download the zip file without having to create a Dropbox account:

    M Series NVR - Firmware V5.04.070 Release 250828

The DS-76xxNI-M2 series NVR product pages no longer show the latest firmware... I suspect we have seen the last firmware updates for these :( So much for "HOT" :)

    M Series NVR - Firmware V5.04.070 Release 250828

Not really, I could see staying on V4.

    M Series NVR - Firmware V5.04.070 Release 250828

Still not, but there is the alarm pop up window... not as good functionality as V4 "full screen": No... here's where GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE... or we're the only two users who care it was a good timeout... hard to believe :( No change here either... not a pet peeve of mine, but the...

    Best Indoor WiFi Camera?

It's been a while since I tried, but I seem to remember being able to use Hik-Connect to set an Ez-Viz camera up from scratch... It's really up to a new/recent user to try and see what happens now :)

    Best Indoor WiFi Camera?

I have/had several different Ez-Viz models... they all seem to have different features supported by the Hikvision protocol. I would try starting over and re-activating/connecting to Wi-Fi using the Hik-connect app... then use iVMS4200 to configure any settings (like auto tracking) that are not...
