Hi @Dondon09
You should be able to find the HiLook NVR using the Hikvision SADP Tool, which will give you the IP address of the NVR to access it using a browser.
Great,
If you already have a PoE switch with some cameras connected to it, you can connect the replacement Hikvision camera to this switch and then add the camera to the NVR over the local network as an ONVIF device.
Hi @only they know
Can you please provide more information because I don't quite understand what the issue is.
If the live view time/date sync is correct, your recordings should use the same correct time/date information.
Hi @ERF
The Hikvision camera is unlikely to be recognised automatically by the 3rd-party Zip NVR.
You will likely need to connect the Hikvision camera to your local network using a separate PoE Injector/Switch and then enable the camera with the Hikvision SADP Tool.
You can then either leave...
Thanks @rosendo
The version you are currently running is the latest version available for this NVR (see the Hikvision Download Portal).
This firmware has a build/release date of 29/03/2017 and the firmware folder it's in is in the 'Phased Out' section of the Hikvision Download Portal.
Both...
Hi @Ryraum
I don't think we have been hands-on with this specific model, but usually with these Hikvision Cube cameras, you can find the reset button under the MicroSD card slot cover on the side of the camera (see picture below).
Okay,
You will need to access the NVR with a browser or direct monitor to check some things in the NVRs settings, this includes making sure the recording schedule & settings are configured correctly and testing the HDD for any issues.
If you are not confident about how to do this, it might be...
Thanks @yves
Do you have access to the NVR via browser or a direct HDMI monitor?
How do you have this camera configured to record? Is it recording continuously or recording by Smart Event?
Hi @yves
Where are you trying to access playback? Direct HDMI monitor, browser, or Hik-Connect app?
Is it only one camera on the NVR that you can't see playback for or is it all of them?
Have you recently updated the firmware of the NVR and/or cameras? If you have, were you aware if the...
Thanks @Leodan
Have you tried looking at what @sportster has suggested?
Are all the cameras directly connected to the NVR PoE ports or are they connected remotely to separate PoE Injectors/Switches?
If the cameras are connected to separate PoE sources on the local network, you can use the...
Hi @Leodan
I'm not sure if this issue has ever come up before.
Why specifically do you need to identify the cameras via MAC address or serial number?
Each camera should have a unique IP address to identify it, you can also change the displayed name of each camera in the image settings to the...
Thanks @ranjster
The first thing I would recommend is updating the NVR firmware as you are several versions behind the latest firmware for this model.
Below are the firmware versions we recommend updating to:
V4.61.000 build220507
V4.61.030 Build240123
Please update to V4.61.000 first...
Hi @ranjster
Can you please confirm what firmware version the NVR is currently running?
Can you please confirm which camera models you have connected to the NVR and the quantities of each model?
Hi @Shawty1984
Have you confirmed that the 192.168.0.100 is the correct IP address that is assigned to the NVR?
Have you got the Hikvision SADP Tool installed on a PC that is hard-wired to the Virgin Media Hub? Can you see the NVR on the network using the SADP Tool?
