I'm afraid that I don't have a quick answer, it's not software that I can recall us using much. But it's interesting that yours is the second recent query on a product that went EOL three years ago (and is generally never mentioned)...

You may be the first to realise and point out that this is the case. I don't think that we have tested it. We learned only recently that config. backup/restore works only to the same NVR ....

I suspect that we are not going to get official Hikvision clarification on this any time soon. A newer firmware version may appear for the I-series in other regions (if they have developed newer firmware, then why not share it widely?). People in regions other than MENA will have to wait and...

I am not sure why those files that you mention have been generated. SADP is a utility program provided by Hikvision. You should be able to download it from their website - here. It should download an executable file, which you can then run to install the SADP utility. On that linked page...

Maybe run SADP and check the IP addresses shown in the list that it provides? Check that the line entry for your AX Pro hub is showing the correct Gateway IP address for your new router.

I don't think there's much that we can tell you. We weren't expecting it. It hasn't been uploaded to the UK portal. There are no Release Notes for it. As the V5 firmware caused chaos with the newer / stronger M-series NVRs I'd have to advise extreme caution before you proceed with an update...

I'm guessing that on the end of the flying lead from that camera will be an RJ45 socket, which is going to make it difficult to do as you would hope :( e.g. you can get stuffing glads that will allow an RJ45 plug to pass through, then seal on the cable. But I'm not aware of anything that will...
