Sorry, but I forgot to add. I have purchased a few ColorVu Cameras. They work well if there is other lighting around. Don't but ColorVu cameras if the space is pitch black, you will only see so far.

UPDATE: As Dan mentioned above you can pull in any IP camera on a Hikvision NVR as long as it's ONVIF compliant. But one must understand not all of the features of the camera will work if you pull them in through ONVIF. It's something one needs to understand before purchasing certain cameras...

UPDATE: I spoke to the hikvision Tech Support today as we have been trying to get these uniview cameras to work on the line crossing function. He said it will not work through ONVIF. This is a bummer as the univew cameras have a good selection of decent priced cameras that are low light...

@camarasdeseguridadrosario I had a similar problem. I went to the Hik-Connect on my phone and went to Account management. I changed my password and made a new one. After that it worked with IVMS-4200.

DS-7616NI-SE Can someone tell me where I can get the firmware update for this type of NVR? I don't find it on the HikVision website. All of the cameras I try and use say they are offline, despite some of them being HikVision IP cameras so I am assuming a firmware update would help fix this .
