Hey @Kyle I spoke to soon. Because I wasnt too fussed about exporting some details as i have that all saved so re entering wasnt an issue. Now My NVR wont connect in the hik connect app.

I had this exact issue and have just rolled my firmware back to 4.51.025 and i dont have the green boxes on the live view anymore

Hi @Kyle I do have an I series NVR which I also upgraded last night. I had updated to 5.7.3 but that still is causing an issue which makes me think its the NVR firmware. I dont remember what firmware my NVR was on before i updated. Should I downgrade to 4.51.025? would that be okay to do so?

Okay thanks. Yer I always set it via the NVR but will set it to bi directionally to make sure. Will increase sensitivity also and hope this starts catching results i expect to get.

Hi @JB1970 I have tried changing the line to vertical but when I crossed the line this evening it didn't send an event. I have the sensitivity set to 55. Should I be using a different type of event in this instance?

Ah okay thank you for that nugget of info about the line working best when it is vertical. I’m now trying to work out the best position and hopefully have the false alarms reduced.

That is another good idea having a few of those down the fence line on the concrete posts. i guess this would mean if there is an intruder it would then light up and camera able to see
