So if i add a NAS to my network via my TP-Link splitter, i should be able to use that for just the one camera storage ?

I have read that you can fit 2 HDD's to one Sata using a splitter cable in a PC. But can this be done with a Hikvision NVR to add extra storage ? or can a USB HDD be use in the same way the sata hdd are ? Or is there a way i can add another storage to my home network ? What i am trying to do is...

Hi Dan Yes i'm viewing via HDMI to 2 monitors away from the NVR and another monitor via VGA next to the NVR. Yes for the moment it is for my Hiwatch 216M-A/8P.

I had this problem with one of my dome camera's. So I set the BLC Area to "Auto" and turned on "Smart Supplement Light" then set the Light Brightness Control to "Manual" and set the IR Light to "8". This improved the image and made the dark areas lighter. To much IR is not always a good thing.

So I now got all my 11 cameras done now with there new up to date firmware. My 5 x 2055 cameras are now up from 5mp (2560 x 1920) upto 6mp (3072 x 2048) which I am very happy with.

I have added the firmware update V5.6.6 210625 to one of my 2055 cameras. It now does not let me have live view in IE or firefox. i keep getting the little note box in the bottom right corner saying "Live View Failed". EDIT all sorted and working. Once again thank you so much for your help...
