I did not get this error yet. I am using the door station with two android tablets running linphone as Indoor stations and freepbx (which is built around asterisk) as sip server. Maybe try this combination first? Are you using the latest firmware?

OK maybe i'll try fusionpbx. The docker images i found seem to be outdated... I'm using OpenHab, but also some HA components like Esphome. I tried HomeAssistant but the UI felt like it wanted to integrate too many different things.

Sadly I did not have the time to try anything yet. Still hanging on to asterisk without early video but calling multiple linphone clients via ring groups.

Oh sorry, did not see that this is related to HikConnect. I'm using SIP protocol with freepbx and when you are speaking at the door you basically hear your own echo. KD8003 and LinPhone clients are not close so I guess this cannot be an analogue feedback problem.

What did you do to solve the echo issue?

So are you saying that the KD8003 / Yate 5.5 Client does not support sending early Video (SIP 183?)? I'm not sure if I need to configure that on the Asterisk side.

I'm aware that I might have to write my own Android client, but that should not be that hard. The RTSP Stream is always available, not only when the "call" is in progress, so SIP is only required for audio. If we can trigger the door opener by ISAPI command you don't even need to accept the call.

Okay, I started from scratch using "host" network mode so I don't have to deal with NAT. In FreePBX I had to change the External IP Address and define the local network. Now I get audio. Next step: video ;) Ok, now Video was really easy. Video support was deactivated by default in Sip Settings...

TCP is disabled by default, my guess is that RTSP is not working but I'm still trying to figure it out

Yeah... I don't get any audio (or video) when calling from Android client to Windows client so this is not an Hikvision issue. I guess this is related to the bridge networking of the freepbx docker container .

I currently don't have video, trying with Linphone Android client. Probably need to try different settings.

Okay, I reverted to door station, now it is calling my soft client. Thanks for the help

Did you set the Device Type to "Door Station" or "Outer Door Station"?

I'm unable to save anything here: I always get "Save failed" which is not very helpful. What format does the "Button Settings" field expect?

Hi there, I'm struggling with the DS-KD8003 and the latest firmware V2.2.50_210713 I managed to get it to register with FreePBX on chan_sip (pjsip had authentication failures) but I don't really see where I can configure which extension to call when I press the button. Any hints? P.S.: I don't...
