My 1 camera has lost it's sub stream again and nothing I do can bring it back. I've given up on it for now and just have to use it's main stream.

No offence taken, but you can follow the same procedure I did to get a fresh copy of the file if you wish. Go to Hikvision website and in the help chat bot enter "iVMS-4200 doesn't work on Mac Catalina" and it tells you to email them to retrieve a file. You can email them and get your own file...

The million dollar question. The app doesn't use the native AppKit you'd expect from a MacOS app, so god knows how it's been developed.

Sorry, I should have said. I was sent it by Hikvision. If you click `Get Help` on this support page Support then say `iVMS-4200 doesn't work on Mac Catalina` it tells you to email them and they'll send you the file to fix it.

I have the fix for iVMS-4200 on MacOS Catalina :) Unzip this file and replace the one in the apps bundle. iVMS-4200 now works for me on MacOS 10.15.2

Played about a bit more and swapped cameras around and it seemed that 3 ports on the NVR just weren't working. PoE was working but it wouldn't detect any cameras. I rebooted the NVR and one of the ports started working! (I didn't test the others). So i'll monitor it and see how it goes.

Does everyone keep getting the firewall popup question on launch of iVMS for Mac? It seems the app isn't developer signed so the firewall won't let me allow it permanently.

I'm seeing something similar. I have 1 camera that every now and then disappears from my NVR. Plugging it into a different LAN socket brings it back. Now for some reason, I can view it full screen in iVMS-4200 but when I set it to a small window it says it has an error connecting. I'm assuming...
