Yes, found it.
I had only connected a monitor on installation and in the years since, only accessed via web or ivms.
The option was indeed deep in advanced somewhere via local screen. I have activated it and will see if it works.

All 3 options give "no intelligent record files."

Device management -> Basic setting -> Video/Adio -> Disply info. on stream -> "Enble Dual-VCA" is checked
I had a quick look in IVMS-4200 and I see the markers when I use the search function in the playback. I also see the line crossing and intrusion (on the preset areas/lines.). These are the preset VCA motions.
I cannot search for VCA in IVMS-4200, in other words right-click and then select VCA...

It's for now only turning off markers (motion, line and intrusion) in the timeline through the browser. These camera's don't support VCA if i'm wright.
IVMS works for me...
As a professional, what is your opinion? Do you agree with me that these functionalities are basic in a good camera system?
Certainly if these have been in there you cannot suddenly decide to turn this off.
Does anyone have experience connecting Hikvision (colorvu) cameras to a non-Hikvision NVR?

I'm thinking of downgrading to the latest V3.. till a new release is available.
Problem is that it resets everything.. Did you lose everything with the downgrade? I don't know of a restore from backupfile takes the problem back.

I'm at .011 now and if i go back in time it works.
If i take the date from the upgrade it doesn't work anymore..
Seems that the function in playback is ok but the writing of the motion not.

The option is still visible, only it doesn't work. Seems more like a bug..
I will downgrade to latest V3 en reinstall everything awaiting of a new upgrade (if it is a bug ;-))

I've upgraded to v4.30.011 unfortunately is motion in playback still not working.
Can you select the buttons of motion and line crossing in the web interface (playback)?
I don't see the alarms in the corresponding bar anymore.

I did everything, upgrade, downgrade and upgrade and the motion isn't visible in the browser.
I just wait on the next release and hope they solve it.
Just wondering when they repair it and wait for the notes of 010 and 011.
