@JB1970 can I just confirm those female adapters whatever they are, do not provide any waterproofing properties? I think the waterproofing all comes from the shielding that’s around the Ethernet connector?

I meant to say with the current 2.8mm people seem far away. To get good detail you have to zoom in but because it’s digital zoom the quality gets lost

Just regarding this. I’m not exactly sure if virgin xgs pon is the same. But for openreach fttp their ont serves as the modem. I’ve connected my unifi cloud way gateway max straight to the ont and it works fine.
