Firmware 2nd gen Acusense - which model do I have?

Hi,

Just bought two 2nd gen Acusense cameras.

The model on the box says DS-2CD2346G2-IU 2.8mm C

Is this the newer C model or the older version?
On the web interface it shows DS-2CD2346G2-IU as the model.

And in terms of firmware, which one do I use G3 or G5 firmware?

There's only non c (G3) or c (G5) so yours will be the G5. If you want to be 100% just look at Configuration > Systems Settings > Basic Information while logged into the camera. The 'firmware version property' on that page will contain either G3 or G5. Latest version for the G5 is 5.7.15_240411. If your existing version happens to be below 5.7.x (on one of the initial 5.5.x versions), you should load 5.7.1 first.
