Hello all,
We have a HiView HW-3310M-H3 NVR with 8 HiView HW-33B30-H3 cameras connected.
Now one is broken and as we now have ethernet where the camera is installed we bought a HiView HP-554B40PE-M ethernet camera to replace it.
The camera has its own GUI so we logged in, gave it a static IP and did some other settings. It comes up when searching for the IP in a browser but the NVR does not discover the camera.
The NVR also has a static IP and, of course, they are on the same scope.
We can not find any way to manually add the camera to the NVR as it only have search function which does not pick up the new camera.
Have tried to find decent manuals for the NVR and camera but as we are in Thailand the only thing we can get are some simple startup instructions in Thai.
Anyone have any ideas on how to make this work or where we can find good manuals in English?
It would save us some grey hair and the option of dumping the ethernet camera and buy a WiFi cam and connect to ethernet.
