All new to me ...Internet Speed Required?

I have just recently installed 3 cameras and my recorder can use a max of 4 . Using Guarding Vision software and images are all excellent when viewing live however the problem starts when l try to view playback video...l am receiving no notifications...is this a bandwidth issue? I currently have 5 Mbps upload speed...is this sufficient?

How are you accessing the NVR? Are you on a PC on the same local network as the NVR or are you accessing the NVR remotely from a device outside your local network?

I am using an Android phone and the Nvr is connected directly to the modem (not using a router)
And l am outside my network..(.different country )

I have known systems with <1Mbps internet upload speed work fine, so it's unlikely to be your upload speed.

I'm afraid that we haven't really got a lot to go on here to be able to assist you.
We're not familiar with Guarding Vision software.
We don't know the make and models of your hardware.
It's very unusual to use a modem, but no router.
