are Hikvision Getting Strict ?

So i brought a used UK Supplied Camera that was got from DVS Years ago.

Sadly the camera was linked to the previous owner,
So i emailed Hikvision password email and sent them my XML, Normally they are great support, reset it and send me the file.


So i did the same today and There demanding i fill out a form consisting of Where and when i ordered the camera and Details about where i live my name and personal details.

Is this something they are now doing ?
I always write down my password and set up recovery once i reset them.

Asking you to complete the form has been their standard practice / response for a long time (years).

Ive just reset 7 cameras in 3 days and never needed to fill out 1 form.
So there either been lazy or now getting strict lol

i ignored the form and they have now sent me the reset. So all sorted. Can delete if you want. Thank you
