Camera disconnected

I have two identical DS-2CD2132-I cameras connected to a Synology NAS. Last week I updated the NAS to the latest version of DSM and Surveillance Station. This immediately caused one of the cameras to become disconnected.

I can still ping the disconnected camera and it is seen by the SADPtool, but I can't log into it. I have contacted Synology and they have said to update the camera firmware, but I can't get into the camera to do it.

Any ideas please?

Thanks,

Danny

Does SADP show that both cameras are active?
At unique and relevant for your domain IP addresses?
Do you know the password for each camera?
Can you login and access one camera but not the other?
Maybe upload a screenshot from SADP with the row for the problem camera highlighted.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the response. Even though both cameras still had the default password, I used the password recovery tool and was able to gain access to the camera again.

In answer to your questions, the SADP showed both cameras identically, but it wouldn't accept the password for one, the password was the same for both, and yes I could login to one and not the other.

Thanks,

Danny
