Camera junction box question

What is the difference between the DS-1280ZJ-DM8, DS-1280ZJ-DM18 and the DS-1280ZJ-DM21 and will they all fit the DS-2CD2383G0-I, DS-2CD2385FWD-I and DS-2CD2385G1-I?

Figured out which one I needed. Its the DS-1280ZJ-DM8.

I purchased a DS-1280ZJ-DM8 junction box and have a question.

The plastic bolt with a rubber seal inside that screws into the box that should tighten over the cat6 cable is to big of a hole to make it waterproof. Is this normal or have I ordered the wrong one?

If the cable gland will not tighten to make a weatherproof seal to your cable, then a couple of common solutions are:

• Wrap electrical insulation tape or self-amalgamating tape around the cable at the point within the gland to make the cable thicker, so that the gland does compress onto it and makes a seal.
• Use silicone sealant to fill & seal the gland entry around the cable.
