Some of the Sanyo datasheets and other documentation mentions that the analogue BNC output can be used for technical setup, we think that this is because they anticipated that (given it is an IP/Network camera) people might just wish to use that BNC output with engineer's test monitors at the time of installation.
There is no problem with leaving an analogue monitor permanently connected to the BNC output of the Sanyo VCC-HD4000P or Sanyo VCC-HD4600P.
