Can you board swap between cameras (2CD2042WD-1)

Have a lead on 4 cameras that “Don’t Work”.......
All have ‘original’ firmware in them whatever that means... I do have latest/Last USA Version firmware)...
If 2 of same model cameras that work, with same firmware, swap boards. Will they still work?
In other words—are the boards interchangeable to make one good out of multiple bad cameras?

No one has tried, or there is no direction from the MFG? (Other than to purchase a new camera?)
Posted here before I need to know answer.... I contacted the seller, and he is clue-less as to their history (I think he got them as part of a package he bid on....)..
