Can you stream other cams on a NVR?

Hi,

I've always thought about this one.

I have 2 properties.
Both have hikvision cams + nvr.

Can I get to view my cameras from property 2 to my property 1 NVR?

For example, i have 2 cams at property 1 and 2 at property 2.

Can I get all these cams to show on my property 1 NVR?

As far as we are aware it is not possible to add cameras from one NVR to another if those cameras are directly connected to the NVRs PoE ports as they are on the subnet of the NVR and thus not visible outside your local network. If the cameras are not directly connected to the NVR then you could port forward the cameras and add them to a 2nd NVR using the forwarded address, but this is not easy to set up and not the most secure solution.

We would recommend that you install iVMS-4200 at one location and then you can add the remote NVR using the Cloud P2P method whilst also adding the local NVR with its standard IP address and then view both NVRs in the same software.
