Hi, we have a DS-7608NI-K2/8P connected to 4 Colorvu cameras, I would like to turn the LED lights off on the cameras at night but cannot login to them, I have ticked Enable Virtual Host under Network > Advanced > Other, then go to Camera Managmant and in the join section click the link and just get Cannot reach this page, the plugin is installed and working as live view works fine, any ideas?
Thanks all

Hi @Lee2020

Are the cameras directly connected to the PoE ports on the NVR or are they remotely connected from your local network using their IP addresses?

Did you change the subnet/Internal network card address of the NVR? The default subnet address range of the Hikvision NVRs is always 192.168.254.xxx but yours are added as 192.168.0.xxx

It looks like you have changed the subnet to match your own local network, the subnet has to be a completely different range to your local network for the virtual host function to work.

You will need to change the subnet/Internal network card address back to 192.168.254.1 and you may also have to change the camera IP addresses manually to match this address range as well. (e.g. change 192.168.0.4 to 192.168.254.4)

Yes it was changed to 192.168.0.xxx, this unit is connected to a Domain network, so changing it back means it would no longer be possible to connect to, any other way around this?

Is it not possible to directly connect to cameras via the ip listed on the Camera Managment page? i.e. 192.168.0.5:8000, I have tried but no luck either.

I factory reset the box and now working, the NVR is still 192.168.0.xxx and this time the cameras are 192.168.254.xxx, Thanks for you help
