guys please help I’m racking my brains! I’m trying to use cat5 cable to a dvr, I have used connectors online for the ends (power and bnc) and it worked but wasn’t as crystal as I’d like. So I cut the preconnected cables off the wires which were supplied with the kit (because it would look neater once done) Iv crimped through one leg to power pos and neg. and one leg to data. Iv tried twisting two pairs but nothing will work, is there certain preferred colours? Or will this method just not work at all? Thanks in advance
