Cctv advice needed please

Hi all,

Not got someone to bounce the idea of the layout or what cameras to get, so any advice will be great.

So this the layout of the house and what I was thinking of setup.
The cctv box is a hikvision 32 channel which i already have.

Garage
Put coax cameras close to box

House
Link the cctv box to a switch and router then poe the cameras

Is the 10 cameras a overload ?

Camera - My system only goes upto 2mp. Any cameras in mind ?

Ok, for the size of property you have I think 10 cameras is a slight overload, below are some changes (marked in red) I would recommend to your current layout:

The remaining blue cameras are optional positions that are not necessary but mak give you more detail in some areas, the blue positions at the front and rear of the property are I assume to cover front and back doors which is fine but we would recommend Mini Dome cameras like the DS-2CD2525FWD-I for covering these positions. It may be possible to use the same camera for the blue camera on the left side. (although I think this will be a difficult area to cover with any camera so we personally would not recommend anything here)

All the other camera position in red I think will work fine as DS-2CD2325FWD-I 2MP Turret cameras.

Will be searching those cameras within the month now. Will keep the blue ones but different angles.
