Chinese hikvision Ip camera

I bought 2 Hikvision (DS-2CD2700) IP cameras in 2015 off amazon
I recently installed and bought a NVR to record on.
The cameras are POE but are not picking up or shown as activating.
The cameras came with chinese instructions so im guessing there chinese.
I was told that the firmware is different but could still work.
I have tried to find them on SADP Tool but had no joy.

I'm close to buying 2 new cameras but don't really want too as these are installed and were approx £200 each.
So any help would be grateful

Do they have a pushbutton to allow you to reset them?

If you can reset them to their inactive state and then connect them to your NVR it may pick them up.

Everybody should try to get their HikVision devices up to the latest firmware version.

Lots of caveats:
Firstly, I have no experience with Chinese versions.
I can't guarantee that any of the usual things will work.
I can't accept any responsibility.

Ian are you able to access them by their IP address? Does their IP show up if you use a port scanner? Advanced IP Scanner - Download Free Network Scanner.

As far as I'm aware any incompatibility issues with CH cameras will show an error of language mismatch.
