iVMS-4200 Connecting a particular Hikvison Camera (DS-2XS2T41G0-ID/4G/C04S05) to IVMS-4200?

Hi everyone,​

Does anyone know how to connect this camera to IVMS-4200 without using Hik-Connect.

Do I need to get the cell phone company to do port forwarding on the sim and provide me with a static IP or is there an easer way to do this.

The manual for the camera is here:

The instructions at the top of page 67 suggest that you should be able to use a DNS service to locate it on the web AND be able to enter that DNS domain name in the client software e.g. iVMS-4200.
