Connecting NVR 7604NXI to Wifi

I have an NVR 7604NXI with a firmware V4.73.106 which doesn't have a Wifi ability, therefore I bought PLUGABLE USB 2.0 802.11N WIRELESS ADAPTER with RTL8188eus as I have read that it works.

The dongle doesn't work after connecting to the NVR I don't see a Wifi tap in the NETWORK menu. Can someone please guide me? am I missing something?

The NVR needs to support the WiFi dongle. If that particular model supported one, the 'WiFi' tab would be present on the screen you showed. So unfortunately I think you're stuck. However all is not lost, you can use a Vonets WiFi bridge which will achieve the same only they are setup first using a PC/laptop and once configured you can plug it into the NVR. They can use an external Power supply or you can use the NVRs rear USB port to power it. Just search 'Vonets WiFi Bridge' on Amazon.
