Continuous Record With Event Markers On Timeline?

I have A Hikvision DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3 with no NVR, just SD card and can view camera through Web interface or iVMS 4200 or Hik Connect on phone.

I'm trying to get the events showing up on timeline with continuous record like in 1st pic I have attached.

Looking at another thread says it can be done in iVMS Event Playback but I get 'not supported by device'

I take it I have run out of options to get this to work?

Does this camera support this function at all?

Would this work if I had a NVR?

Hi @vlct

I'm afraid that it isn't possible to use the Event Playback feature on standalone cameras, so you will need to get an NVR for this to work, as you say.

Is there any other standalone cameras with SD Cards only/ no NVR that can do continuous record with event markers? or is this just a hikvision software restriction?
