FAQ dh-ipc-hfw1200sp-0360b reset password

Hi,
My camera serial is : dh-ipc-hfw1200sp-0360b
I need to reset its password (I forget it) . I tried using config tool but It not worth and there is no reset button at the camera anywhere .
Is there any another way to reset its password .

We don't really work with Dahua products so our knowledge is limited, but we googled your camera model and found a user manual with hard reset instructions, see highlighted text below:

If your camera has these reset cables (marked with the number 3 above) you can simply touch the ends of these cables together to create a 'short circuit' and hold them together for more than 5 seconds that should factory reset the camera.

Thank you for your response , but this two wires are not found in my cam .

okay,

Your exact model doesn't give many results when searching for it online so trying to find specific reset instructions is not easy, maybe try the below method:

If the button is there it should be the same instructions as above, power on the camera and hold the reset button for more than 5 seconds, the camera should then reboot & hard reset.

Thanks for your concern, but also, my camera has no reset button on this particular point .
