Disable DS-7608NI-K18P Buzzer / Beeper but still want alarm sound in iVMS Client?

Hi,

I want to occasionally disable the alarm buzzer / beeper on my DS-7608NI-K18P NVR but continue to receive audio alerts for alarms on the iVMS software.

If i disable the Audio Warning in Event Management, that stops on both, I just want the NVR's buzzer / beeper to be quiet.

Any Tips?

Hi @BerkoJas

Yes, you can do it - you need to:

1. On the NVR's local GUI, go to the Platform Access menu in the settings for the event, and untick the "buzzer" option, but make sure "notify surveillance centre" is still ticked.
   
   
2. In iVMS-4200, in the alert / alarm popup at the bottom of the screen, make sure that the sound is on via the speaker icon:
