When mounting this camera to the junction box the camera base screws on to the junction box. Is the only thing holding the camera on to the base the little screw that needs an Allen key?

Yes - the screw you refer to is the only screw you need to undo to remove the camera from the base. You loosen it a bit to rotate the camera in the base, and loosen more so the small metal bit under the screw can be moved and then the camera can come away from the base entirely.

But there are two metal tabs on the camera base which the camera slots into, so the camera weight is supported by the two metal tabs of the base and the screw.
