Hi,
I have an DS-2CD2786G2-IZS camera and when I view remote playback in Windows 10 either in HiLookVision or iVMS-4200 3.8.0.4 and then attempt to download some of the video it always throws a "no more user allowed" error. The only way to get around this is to exit HiLookVision or iVMS 4200 and then restart it without playback and then just do the download.
This doesn't happen with my old DS-2CD2132 and I suspect it is a bug in the DS-2CD2786G2-IZS , I may be wrong (probably am lol) but it seems as though the remote playback video is making one connection and even when stopped or paused then trying to download the video makes another connection which is not allowed.
I tried switching on multicast on the camera
239.255.222.222, Main Stream, ports 8860, 8862 but this hasn't made any difference, I'm not sure if I need to switch it on in the windows client somehow or anywhere else too ?

Does anyone have any ideas ?

thank you
Mike

Hi @MikeHikCam

What firmware is your 2786G2 currently running?

Hikvision recently released a new fix firmware - v4.71.005 - that says it fixes an issue with max users in Hik-Connect

Hi Dan
I was on V5.7.10 build 220720 but had problems with almost continuous motion detect so I downgraded to V5.7.3 build 220216

sorry @MikeHikCam

I saw the max user fix and thought it might help you but now I realise that is actually firmware for a K-series NVR which has nothing to do with your camera problem.

Did you have this issue before you updated to v5.7.10?

Yes I have always had this issue with this camera. I have to restart HiLookVision / iVMS-4200 3.8.0.4
Rebooting the camera seems to fix it for a short period too
