DS-2XS2T41G0-ID/4G/C04S05 solar camera not charging?

Hello

My DS-2XS2T41G0-ID/4G/C04S05 is flat, ran out of battery as someone installed it in a stupid place.

For some reason the camera won't charge anymore at this point in time. I am having to give some form of tech support someone to fix this in a remote location.

I am assuming if I charge the camera with a 12V power supply via the pig tail could help fix this?

I looked at the manual but it does not go over this point that I can see, but this would make the most sense.

I don't think this model was ever available in the UK:

I don't think it has been available for very long, so I assume it would still be covered by Hikvision's warranty and therefore it may be best to contact their support team for repair / replacement.
