DS-7608NI-K2 - WD Purple 18TB

Hi Team

Have a WD Purple 18TB and cant get it to work with the NVR (FW - V4.71.005 build 220524)

In Playback it shows data (blue flags on calendar) - but when I go to play it errors out?

Just replaced with a 3TB and all working fine...

Have read different threads about larger HDD's (not on the Hik rec. list) - some saying newer / larger HDD's are fine others saying Hik doesnt play nicely with them

Does anyone know a solution to this?

Its an expensive 18TB paper weight otherwise!

We've recently spoken to Hikvision about this as it was covered in the below, and they confirmed that 18TB HDDs are not compatible with their NVRs, I'm afraid.

We had always found that you could use larger drives than stated as being compatible in an NVR's datasheet, which would work fine, but it now seems that there is an issue with very large sizes (>18TB).
