DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S - Firmware_V5.04.027_241213 Won't Update

Hi all,

I am trying to upgrade the firmware on my DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S to Firmware_V5.04.027_241213. No matter what I do it fails. Tried Via GUI, IVMS and on the NVR. 2 different USB sticks, formatted FAT32. Rebooted NVR, nothing works. Any ideas?

Hi... it looks like there are two revisions (C) and (E) of that NVR... do you know which revision you have?

It's the "C" version. Silly me. And it's on the V4.62.225_240123 firmware. Why on earth have the same NVR in essence, but with some difference that means different firmware. Thank you for your help.

It's annoying... the different revisions might as well have different model numbers.
