Hi, I've recently joined as there's a lot on here about the DS-7616NI-M2. I've done some reading but didn't come across this problem.
I've "upgraded" from a DS-7608NI-I2 , with it on Live View (using the 4K HDMI output to TV), after the screen lock timed out the audio on whatever camera was selected continued.
With the DS-7616NI-M2, running the NVR 5 firmware ( V5.04.020_241106 ) the audio gets muted as soon as the screen locks (4K HDMI output.) I logged into the NVR's webpage and though I'd found a setting that would enable the audio but it made no difference.
Has anyone found a way to do it?
I've updated it to the latest firmware from the www.hikvision.com portal. (I'm in Australia and bought it direct from an importer- it's not genuine Aussie stock. Long story, but my last NVR was and it was region locked to Hikvision Australia firmware releases, and they were so far behind it was ridiculous.)
