Ethernet over coaxial extenders for IP cameras?

Hi

Does anybody have any experience with ethernet over coaxial extenders?

I have taken over an install where one is used. Never used them before but every few weeks the extender needs rebooting. Are they not reliable or does the extender perhaps need replacing?

I've not needed to use them for many years but used to use the Veracity ones without issue - never had problems with reliability. The quality of the ethernet link/bandwidth was dependant upon the coax type, length and integrity of connections.

You will want to look at the Veracity HIGHWIRE range of Ethernet over COAX products.
