Event markers absent on timeline for Smart Events?

Hello,

This is my system.
My desire is to record a continuous stream while also placing event markers on the timeline.
The unit is recording continuously with no problem.
However, the event marks are absent.
I've tried rebooting the Hikvisions system but did not help.
Any assistance is appreciated.

I'm not familiar with that particular NVR. However have a look through the settings using the locally connected monitor and look for "Save Camera VCA Data". If you find it, it should be ticked as otherwise the NVR discards the event information that is sent alongside the video in the data stream from the camera.
