I have a Hikvision camera which is connected with POE connection. but the camera is going offline when there is not illumination of the camera location, so I connected external power for the camera and power up as my concern is the POE power may not sufficient to turn on IR power of the camera. now the camera has connected with 2 power ways. but still I have the same issue the camera is going off it self when the I turn off the light of the location. can someone help ?
is the camera operating with POE power still? or the PoE power disconnected automatically when I connected external power to the camera?
