I have a ids-7716nxi-i4//16p/x NVR on the latest firmware and have had murder getting the facial detection to work.
I have enabled the engine for the cameras as engine 2.
Enabled facial detection
Populated the face bank with photos
But the nvr will not detect any faces at all.
The cameras I have enabled it on are about 2.5-3m from the ground and the images of faces are fairly good but when I do a face search with or without the face bank enabled it will allow me to
Do people search but the search results for both strangers and people in the face bank comes back with zero results.
At one point I stood right infront of the camera and still nothing.
Can anyone think of any reason this won’t work ?
The cameras are all DS-2CD2347G1-LU but this shouldn’t matter as the recorder supports facial and I’ve used the same camera/recorder combination in the past to make this work.
