hikvision 4 port NVR and hikvision cameras. I’ve got one Poe port that has stopped powering. Tried resetting the NVR and switching the cameras around but it’s still the same port that won’t power. It’s is only 4 ports so I’m blind in one and it’s a concern. I’d like to try something before I have to buy a new NVR. Absolutely no one diagnosing or repairing CCTV in my hood

It does sound like you might have an issue with one of the PoE ports.

The easiest solution to avoid replacing the whole NVR would be to purchase a single PoE Injector to power the camera.

You can then connect the camera via the injector to your local network, use the SADP Tool to change the camera to a local IP address rather than the NVR's 192.168.254.xxx subnet IP address, and then add the camera back to the NVR over the local network rather directly to the NVR PoE ports.
