Firmware Features removed in newer firmware?

Hi there

I have a few DS-2CD2335FWD-I and one DS-2CD2355FWD-I.
I'm still at V5.5.83 build 190221 on all cameras.

I remember (long time ago) that some advised against going to the v5.6.xxx firmware as something was removed.
I can't find that info again, but maybe you guys know anything about it ?

I use them together with BlueIris if that makes a difference.

As far as we are aware there are no issues or features removed when updating to the latest v5.6.xxx firmware.

I think the issue you are referring to was that some minor issues were found in early v5.6.xxx firmware and the user could not downgrade back below v5.6.xxx and so until Hikvision introduced a fixed firmware some users were stuck.

I believe these issues have been resolved in the more recent firmware versions so you should be fine to update to the latest v5.6.6 firmware
