I'm trying to help my school setup a ds-7716ni and DS-2cd2345FWD-I cameras.

We have it all working internally but I cannot get hik-connect to work.

The DVR continually says it's offline. I have asked our Network guys to open the following ports to the DVR:
HTTP Port = 80
Server Port = 8000
RTSP Port = 554
HTTPS Port = 443

The DVR should have access to litedev.hik-connect.com and dev.hikconnect.com but the DVR still shows as "offline" under Platform access.

Am I missing any ports or steps ?

Thanks

Simon

You do not need to set up port forwarding for Hik-Connect - it uses a secure tunnelling method.

It isn't working. As we're a school our local authority lock ports down very tight.

The Ip of the DVR has no access to the WWW unless they open specific ports, is has normal http/https ports open for web browsing but thats it. I have asked for 554 and 8000 as additional ports but still not online.
