Firmware Firmware for ColorVu Gen 2 Cameras (eg DS-2CD2387G2-LU)?

Hi,

I did a firmware search for my ColorVu camera DS-2CD2387G2-LU and whilst I could previously find this exact model listed, the search now only provides the below 2 options, neither of which match my model (these have a “H” of “P” appended to model name).

Has something changed in terms of camera model naming convention?
Which version should I choose (if any) for my cameras?

Note same thing is happening for my other cameras with model DS-2CD2T87G2-L.

Any thoughts/advice appreciated.

If you go to the firmware menu on the Hikvision Global website you can search for your models and should see the correct firmware versions.

Great thanks. That worked but very odd my local site no longer has my cameras listed even though they’re less than 2 years old.

Yeah, we have seen some Hikvision regions starting to remove product pages & firmware for basic ColorVu models (2xx7G2), we think it is because some regions are now leading with the Hybrid Light models (2xx7G2H) as these are an All-in-One camera with all the features offered by the basic ColorVu models.

We think they are in the process of phasing out the basic ColorVu models, but you don't have to worry about them stopping firmware anytime soon because currently, the basic ColorVu models use the same G5 firmware as the Hybrid Light models.
