Ghosting on "use-ip Purschased"

Hi

I'me getting ghosting and lag at certain times on playback direct from the NVR Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1-4P. Sometimes if people are recorded walking to the front door they also stay in place for a minute or so.

Any Help would be great

Hi,
It's a process of ruling out the weak link / problem area.
It could be PC/processing issues - is it the same when you view on a direct connected monitor?
Networking issues; Is the camera wired to the NVR? NVR wired to the router? PC wired to the router?
Camera to NVR.
NVR to playback device.

this happens when viewing on the NVR directly via dsub monitor no PC involved

yes about 20ft of cable connecting it

Is it a HikVision Camera?
What model please?
How many cameras do you have connected?
At what resolution & frame rate please?
Does live viewing look OK?

just 1 camera (above)
live view is fine
Frame rate 20fps
res 2560x1920

it seems to be worse if i flick through the hours of the day once or twice.

Does your NVR/firmware allow you to check your HDDs?
As live view seems OK, and a single camera should not be too demanding for the NVR, I'm wondering if there's an issue with your hard drive.
