Hi,
This is an image taken this morning off one of my cameras.

Its a 8MP Dark fighter. 2.8mm lens.

FPS - Full frame
Image Quality - Highest

Should I be expecting better quality at this range? Image was taken from playback vis Hikconnect.

Any tips/advice.

Looks good to me. Keep in mind that the actual recording/image is likely to be of much better resolution that what you are seeing on the monitor.

Picture is fine but it looks as though you've not picked the best position for the camera. You could've done with avoiding the adjacent window in the view. Depending on when the sun hits that window you could have some issues or may get nasty reflections from the IR.

However.....you've got the main stream bit rate set at less than half a meg!!!! Hikvision recommended H265 bit rate at that resolution would be 8192 and that would be based on Medium quality. Ignore the "recommended" range underneath as while they go up and down when you alter the quality setting, they are the figures for H264.
