Help me use my Raspberry Pi to access the remote network which the NVR is on

Scenario:

Location A: Fiber Internet ( No static IP )
Internal Lan: 192.168.88.1/23

Location B: Fiber Internet ( No static IP )
Internal Lan: 192.169.1.1/23

I would like to be able to browse the internal LAN of Location B from Location A.
( I do not want to port forward every device - I ideally want to tunnel / VPN in from PC on Location A and be able to access the internal Lan of Location B, possible? )

I have a Raspberry PI 3 Model B stationed at Location B that can be used for the VPN?

I am lost on the practical how-to, but conceptionally I think it should work?

Somehow, have the VPN bridge the internal LAN & only port forward the VPN port on the router of Location B
( which should be more secure than exposing the NVR and Cameras directly on the internet via conventional port forwarding? )

The VPN part is certainly feasible.
How you configure it will depend on the routers that you have.
Some brands make it nice and easy and secure:

Synology® Launches Synology Router RT2600ac and VPN Plus | Synology Inc.

Effectively, once the VPN is set up your are on an extension of the other site's LAN.

I'm afraid we have no experience with the Raspberry Pi though.

A quick web search seems to reveal lots of possibilities.
Including using it as the VPN router device.

Yea because I have no control over the Routers ( except I can port forward ), I want to use the Rapsberry Pi to do the black magic.

When I have a bit of time, I am going to go this route;

Worked like a bomb!

DDNS on the PI
WireGaurd VPN server on PI

WireGaurd Client software on iPhone and Imac
iVMS & HikConnect connected to the IP address on the local network tunneled through the VPN

8 times playbacl speed also working.

Nice.
