Hi all
I have installed 6 hikvision cameras and mounted a switch in the loft which I have run them all to. I've had to put the switch up there due to accessibility issues. I am putting the NVR in the bedroom below the loft, in a cupboard out of the way. The issue I have is that of getting an internet connection up there. I have a router in the living room and a powerline booster which feeds an adapter upstairs, booting the signal. There is a port in the adapter, but only one to hardwire devices. If I link the powerline adapter directly into a new router, will that enable me to have the cctv switch linked to it (uplink) and then a feed out to the NVR? Please see terrible pic attached of what I mean. Really hope that makes sense. Any help would be appreciated.
