Hik-Connect Hik- connect app failure?

Hi thank you for accepting me I have had hikvision cctv at home for the last 7 years my phone is an android Samsung s20fe 3 days ago my app just stopped.
I was advised to uninstall and re install the same app, and it will not allow me to load it back on at all.
I've loaded other apps and everything is not working well at all, of course it was the Hik-connect app that worked perfectly well until now!

Further to my post I'm seeing Hangzhou China on the opening pages is this correct or is there a serious threat to my system?

That's where Hikvision is located. I believe there was a problem with a recent upgrade to the Hikconnect firmware. There are threads on here about it.
