Hik-Connect Hik-Connect has stopped working on one of my phones?

I'm struggling with this immensely.

1. It was previously working. It just stopped working for no reason (on cellular only - wifi is fine).
2. I have a work phone and a personal phone - all is working fine on my work phone.

So the configuration is obviously correct or else it wouldn't be working on another device. I've tried to log out and back in again to no avail. It simply won't work on one device.
 
Are you connecting to your NVR directly using IP address? Or are you connecting using Hik-Connect service?
What country are you in?
What are the telecoms providers for the 2 phones? Are they the same or different?
Does the app see and connect to the NVR but just not stream feeds? Or does it not see or connect to the NVR at all?

In the UK I have had experience of some telecoms companies blocking some CCTV network traffic for whatever reason. In my case, I was using direct IP connection. The provider was not blocking the port outright, so the app would see and connect to the NVR, but would not stream feeds.

Changing the default NVR port from 8000 got around the problem. e.g. I had to either change the port on the NVR (and all connecting devices) or use port-forwarding on my router to forward a different port number to local port 8000.
