Hik-Connect Hik-Connect notifications not working

Hi all,

I am at wits end, I have been spending hours trying to get this working.

Basically, i have set up motion detection on my NVR 7706.
I have 4 cameras connected.
I get the beeping sounds when motion is detected from the NVR itself. and the Bell icon appears showing there was an event triggered.

However, I've set up Hik-Connect and added the NVR, which in turn now shows me all the cameras.

I have set up the cameras to enable notifications on the Hik-Connect app, however, no matter what settings i have, there is no notifications coming through.

Please help!!!. its driving me insane. What could i possibly be doing wrong with this??

Have you turned on the setting in the NVR to send notifications to the Surveillance centre. Find it easy to do it the browser

I didn’t have that option selected. But is that a surveillance compan? I don’t have a subscription with any Or my hik connect app?
I’ll try it when I get home
